Is there coupons for clothing?

A while back I had someone ask me if there were any coupons out there for clothing. I said no at the time, but realized that there actually is. There are no paper coupons for clothing, just online codes that can be used.

I recently came across an incredible deal that I wanted to share. Quiksilver was having an additional 50% off ALREADY clearance items sale. For 6 t-shirts, 2 jeans, and a pair of board shorts, this order should have cost me $345 (all items at REG price), but I paid $99.50!!

Next I went over and bought my daughter some dcshoes for another incredible deal. They were priced at Reg $37.00, and on clearance for $24.50. I got an additional 50% off on those as well. At $12.25/pair, I had to get her two.

My last and final stop was at Sears.ca. They had the Leapfrog Leap Reader on sale for $19.99 (an already awesome deal), but I used a coupon code and only paid $10.99. These are on sale right now at Toys R Us for $44.99. I was really happy to get a head start on my Christmas shopping with this steal of a deal!

Total of items at Regular price without coupon codes: $438.99
After sales & coupon codes: $134.99

Did I mention I am a new fan of online shopping?! :)

“WHAT SUSIE SAYS OF SALLY SAYS MORE ABOUT SUSIE THAN OF SALLY”

Food for thought! I think everyone can say that they haven't said something nice about someone at one point or another. Speak kindly about others or don't say anything at all.

12 days until Christmas! Wow, has this year ever went by fast! A couple highlights of this year would be getting our garage up (not fully finished since my hubby is so busy with work), so many new milestones with Makayla, saving over $3000+ this year with couponing, and lastly my husbands new temporary job position. He is still a Supervisor at HM, but has taken on a position that involved him to learn a computer program so he could teach it to others back at his work. I am so proud to call Matthew my husband. Not only is he an incredible husband and father, he's a very hard worker and it's paying off for him. Congratulations Matt, your family is so proud of you and you really deserve a pat on the back for all you do.
Last weekend I was joking around with my husband and said that we should go to Edmonton for a quick getaway. He said to quickly pack our stuff because we would be leaving in less then a couple hours after he got home from work. We ended up doing a LOT of shopping, swimming and even took Makayla to Galaxyland! She LOVED it so much and didn't want to leave. We ended up finding this really nice bedroom set, but unfortunately the vehicle we rented wasn't big enough to bring it home. So that means, yes, another trip to Edmonton in the New Year with a bigger vehicle. It ended up being a great weekend filled with a LOT of fun, and I can't wait to do it all over again very soon!
I've been decently busy lately, so I haven't had the time to blog and post deals that I've gotten... so here is my latest small shop at Walmart the other day. I'll do a breakdown to show how much each item was and what coupon I used.

Couponing = saving big $$.

Christmas is coming up!! 62 days!

Since I've been couponing, I've had a lot of extra items soooo... Matt and I wanted to do something fun this Christmas season. We're planning on making up some baskets full of goodies for people that aren't as fortunate.

We love doing fun stuff together like this. We are so perfect for eachother it's crazy.  :):)

Here was my shopping trip last week:

Total cost after taxes= $332.24
Total after coupons and taxes= $ -23.12

Yes, Walmart owed me 23.12.

I received my Jamieson Vitamins contest pack last week! They were giving away 10 prize packs of vegetarian vitamins. I didn't think they were going to send me as much as they did, so it was a nice surprise. I'll still use them, even if I'm not a vegetarian.

Today's going to be one of those crazy busy days for me. Happy Wednesday! :)

Best homemade tomato soup!

I love making homemade food, and I've been on the search for a good tomato soup recipe. I was getting tired of the high sodium tomato soup from campbells, so I decided to make my own! This recipe is wonderful, it's cheap to make and tastes great! I doubled mine, as the origional recipe didn't make much.

Prep: 10 min
Cook: 30 min
Ready in: 40 min

Ingredients

8c chopped fresh tomatoes

4 tbsp all-purpose flour

I got this recipe from allrecipes.com, please see the origional recipe here:  http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Garden-Fresh-Tomato-Soup/

What you can expect to read here.

After many months of wanting to create a blog, I finally did. In my blog I will be posting recipes that I've tried, crafts I make, my many couponing shopping hauls, info about my daily life, great deals I find, and so on! Happy Tuesday!!
